BigQuery dataset overview

Masthead shares a BigQuery dataset containing your metadata, lineage relationships, and data quality insights. This dataset provides a direct, performant way to query and explore information about your data ecosystem.

Set up access

To start querying the shared dataset, you must configure access for your Google identity:

1. Submit the access request form to register your Google Account or Google Group with the Masthead team.
2. In the BigQuery console, click + Add data and select Star a project by name.
3. Enter masthead-prod and click Star.
4. The Masthead project becomes visible in the Explorer sidebar.
