Authorization

Please Authorize the Masthead Demo app:

1. Open Google Cloud IAM
2. Click Grant Access
3. Enter Principal Email: masthead-data@masthead-prod.iam.gserviceaccount.com
4. Select Roles: BigQuery Metadata Viewer, BigQuery Resource Viewer
5. Click Save

Insights available

The scope analysis for the insights demo:

• Google Cloud project of your choice
• up to 30 days look-back window
• All used geographical cloud regions

There are 2 types of insights available in the demonstration:

• Storage Costs:
  • List of datasets and their monthly cost per each billing model
  • Savings opportunities from switching particular datasets to an alternative model
• Compute Costs:
  • List of identified pipelines, their current compute model and current cost
  • Savings opportunities from switching particular pipelines to On-demand or Standard editions
